Hi! I'm Joanna, a high school senior at Grapevine High School in the DFW metroplex in Texas. I'm a passionate conservation advocate and a strong believer in expanding environmental education, which led me and my friends to found Create for Conservation. Outside of C4C, I am always looking for new ways to experience the world! You might find me oil painting, looking for new stationery, and even swimming!

Starting in elementary school, I grew to love gardening with my mom every year! It’s what sparked my love for plants. Combined with my passion for creating and illustrating, I wanted to share this love for nature with my community!

Growing up, I’ve always loved the outdoors and the beautiful environment around me. I’m super passionate about conservation, and ensuring that our landscape stays protected is one of my biggest goals, and education is key to reaching this. Establishing a love for nature in kids at an early age ensures that, as they grow, they will continue to love and protect the environment.
